Inyo County residents are reminded that the 2nd installment of the 23/24 Secured property taxes is fast approaching. Alisha McMurtrie, the Inyo County Treasurer-Tax Collector, emphasized that these taxes are due on February 1st, 2024. Failure to make payments on or before April 10, 2024, will result in delinquency.

McMurtrie stated, “Your payment will be delinquent if not paid on or before April 10, 2024, this office will accept a postmark only of April 10, 2024, as a timely payment.” It is crucial for residents to ensure that their payments are made on time to avoid any penalties or rejection of payments.

For inquiries or assistance regarding the property tax payments, residents are encouraged to contact the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s office at 760-878-0312. It is essential to adhere to the deadlines and guidelines set forth to ensure a smooth and timely payment process.
