Mono County Education: Which school had most students enrolled in 2023-24 school year?

Mammoth Elementary School had the highest enrollment among Mono County schools, welcoming 532 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 52.4% were boys, and 47.6% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Mammoth Elementary School students was white, accounting for 38% of the student population.

Among the 11 schools in Mono County, Mammoth High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 351 students, while Mammoth Middle School welcomed 227 students and ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

Mammoth Elementary School is part of Mammoth Unified School District, which roughly covers schools within Mono County and has a main office in Mammoth Lakes.

In the previous school year, Mammoth Elementary School also had the largest number of students among Mono County schools.
