Of the 13,291 people living in Mono County, California in 2021, 45.2% (6,007) were women and 54.8% (7,284) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by East Sierra News.

Data showed the average age for men in Mono County in 2021 was 41 years, higher than the national average of 40 for men.

According to census data, men aged 18 and over outnumbered women in the same age group by 605. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 1,094 men and 897 women.
