78.8% of Inyo County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 18,804 citizens living in Inyo County in 2021, 78.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 14,808 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 7,401 were male, constituting 50%, and 7,407 were female, making up 50%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Inyo County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.2%.
