The Inyo County Board of Supervisors has announced the recipients of the 2025 Community Project Sponsorship Program (CPSP) competitive grants. A total of $40,000 has been awarded to thirteen non-profit entities from Bishop to Shoshone for events or programs scheduled in 2025.

The CPSP program aims to assist local organizations in promoting activities and programs that attract visitors and enhance the cultural and recreational quality of life for county residents. This competitive funding is part of three programs offered through CPSP. Nearly $50,000 is allocated in various CPSP line-item grants for recurring community events like Mule Days and the Wild Wild West Marathon, while $32,500 supports local fishing derbies.

In addition to CPSP, the Board of Supervisors provides almost $25,000 in County Marketing Grants and $122,000 through the Grants-in-Support program. Overall, nearly $250,000 is distributed in grant funding each fiscal year.
