Census Bureau: More men than women in Alpine County in 2019

Of the 1,039 people living in Alpine County in 2019, 46.7 percent (485) were women and 53.3 percent (554) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East Sierra News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 279-to-248. In the 65 and over age range, there were 141 females and 170 males.
