CITY OF BISHOP: Bishop Police Chief Retirement

Retirementsavings

City of Bishop recently issued the following announcement.

It is with some sadness that the City announces the unexpected retirement of its Police Chief Ted Stec.  The City has been informed of the Chief's intent to enter retirement in the weeks immediately ahead.

The Chief has served our community and its leaders faithfully for over five years bringing stability, strong leadership, and tremendous integrity to our outstanding Police Department.  He and his wife Dawn are a terrific team and will be sorely missed.

Chief Stec and the City Council will work together to ensure effective leadership of the Police Department both on a transitional and permanent basis, the recruitment for which will begin immediately.

Our heartfelt thanks and best wishes for Ted and Dawn as they embark on this next phase of their lives.

Ron Phillips

City Administrator
